New week, new day, new .plan. This weekend was certainly eventful. Friday, Meghan and I went to her brother's house to help her niece celebrate her birthday before they headed off to Mexico for a family vacation. I really enjoy our time with her family. They're warm, receptive, and friendly. You can't ask for more! ;-) Saturday turned out to be quite fruitful for me. After dropping off Meghan, I drove down to Applevalley to the Twin Cities Linux Users' Group (TCLUG) psuedo-quarterly "InstallFest". There were quite a few people present representing all levels of Linux experience. There were plenty of newbies and guru's alike. How was this event fruitful? I was able to pawn off my old computer equipment on to other packrats. All but a few items were grabbed. Now, if I can get Ben off his tookus to actually set up email aliases for thelostboys.org, I can shut down zeus and the firewall, drop the /29 and save us $20/month on Internet services. My home brew has been a fairly good success. I made a Northwoods Ale about 6 weeks ago. Crap! I left the bottles outside! (Called Tristan...) Well, he'll bring the bottles inside anyway. I hope they didn't/don't explode from being frozen. Last night was a bit chilly. ;-) I suppose. I'm hungry. I should go get lunch. ^chewie
