Well, a new week at work. I've got a few machines left to install and a new kernel to compile. Sound needs to be enabled on the few machines that have soundcards, and more importantly, speakers. No reason to configure sound if people can't use it. ;-) FAI is pretty slick, but it is a very customized script. A generic approach is something that doesn't not happen in FAI without much scripting, and it's flawed even then. Oh, well. A new batch of beer has been started. This time, it's a honey porter recipe kit from Midwest Brewing Supplies on 36th Ave S in St Louis Park, MN. I forgot to add the aromatic hops at the end of the brewing cycle, so the beer may be a bit more bitter and less flavorful than the recipe intended. Three weeks from now will reveal all. I'm going to try to get a couple more beer batches under my belt before I tackle a mead, since that'll take about three months in the secondary fermentation cycle; my carboy will be too tied up to do more batches of beer. The alternative is to buy another carboy, and at $15USD, it's not such a bad idea. Anyway, I have to get back to work. ^chewie
