It's another warm day here in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The sun is out
and the snow is melting. We had a small snow storm earlier this week
that left a token inch or so; just enough to make me attempt to go cross
country skiing on Lake Josephine. Instead, I was greated by a lake
whose ice had already receeded from the shore. I'm certain if I had
actually made it out onto the lake, it would have been OK skiing for a
while, but getting past the thin ice was not a challenge I wanted to
partake in.

I haven't been very nice to my allergies this last week, having ventured
out to two different bars: Halftime Rec on Tuesday and Phil McGovern's
Pub last night (Thursday). McGovern's wasn't too bad, but when your
body doesn't like tobacco smoke at all, a little amounts to a lot of
suffering. I'm quite stuffed up today. The sad part about allergies is
that you have a greater tendency to get sinus infections, of which I'm
quite familiar with. Oh, well.

Bad news for a friend of mine, Zibby. He's in need of a new job, having
been let go the day after he signed the lease on a new house. I was
impressed about the house, Zibby being the ripe old age of 21, and a bit
depressed about his loss of employment. If anyone knows of positions
opening up for a Systems Administration/Management/Tech Support job,
let me know, and I'll pass the info to him.

Time for lunch, and time to send off this email. Yes, my email updates
for my ~/.plan files works! I'm quite happy about it. My little plan
updater script can be found in my 'src' directory on the website.
