It is obvious to me that I need a more robust way to back up my emails. I'm one of those crazies who likes to keep an archive of every email that is sent to me (save for spam). The last three weeks w/o on-line access to my workstation has shown me that my current system is lacking in redundency. If anything, I should be making gzipped mbox backup files. This type of thing certainly slows down mail delivery, but in the long run, I think it'll be worth it. Anyway, on to other things. Vacation starts tomorrow! At least a short vacation. We're hitting Wisconsin Dells from Saturday through Monday. Since I've never been there, this'll be an adventure for me. I plan on bringing "The Best of the Gear Daddies" CD with me and listen to a few "road tunes." ;-) Next week is Jim and Kristie's wedding on Friday, a school reunion on Saturday, and a family reunion on Sunday. "Eventful summer" is all I have to say. Anyway, I'm back online at home now, so I can start to catch up on some off-time projects, such as maintenance of Debian packages -- namely pnm2ppa and gtimer. Time to get back to the grind. ^chewie
