Surprise, surprise. I'm installing M$ software again on the Mpls campus. If I was to be hired on for 1st level tech support, they should have said so. I was hired under the premise that I wouldn't see 1st or even 2nd level, that I would only really have to go out when there were REAL problems with a computer. Even that was supposed to be a rare occurrance. Instead, I'm stuck doing something a high school student could do. I hate to sound indignant, but it's beneath my skill level to do such menial tasks. The kicker is that the college knows this and has done nothing to help. They could easily hire on three student workers to take the bulk of help support requests and free my time up for real work. I really need to talk to my bosses. I'm willing to stick around if there are changes made, but if I'm going to be doing this indefinitely, I will indifferently search out new employment. I need to sign up for classes this week and take advantage of this free-tuition benefit, otherwise there is nothing for me here at the U. ^chewie
