As promised, I've stared the ball rolling on registering for graduate classes a couple days ago, and I'm already feeling right at home. Departmental Red Tape has been liberally applied to the Computer Science programs, and for me to register for a class, I have to be put on a waiting list! The admitted CS students get first pick, always. I guess I don't mind this terribly, but it does place me at a huge disadvantage. The class I want is only 62% full right now, and with two months left of Summer semester left, I'm pretty optimistic about getting into the Fall class. It's still frustrating that I cannot get a confirmed admittance to the class before that. I'll probably go talk to the instructor personally and drop a few names of advisors and such. We'll see how far I can get. ^chewie
