There are a few things I could not cut out simply because I've already written about them, but I am going to do some major stripping otherwise...) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prytz is, by nature, a wolf, however he has some very special abilities. He is Psionist, be it a very young and inexperienced one. There are a few things that he has learned, or been forced to learn, through his profession and his travels. His primary ability is shapeshifting, although it taxes him heavily. He can assume one form for about a day as long as he returns to his true wolven form. Long duration of shapeshifting, or many different forms leaves him utterly exhausted. (Along w/shapeshifting is scent control.) Some of his secondary abilities are the very basic telepathics (mainly w/humanoids), empathy (stronger with animals), and biometabolism skills (such as healing, adrenaline control, body temperature control, and camoflague). His tertiary skills, or rather more akin to quatrinary skills are teleportation and displacement. The former takes most of his concentration and energy, leaving him completely drained and defenseless, the latter a bit less demanding. He's not very accurate with this skill group, nor is he proficient with it. It might have been pure luck that he ended up at Dragon's Inn that fateful night. (See the intro stories for Prytzouth and Maurkel). Prytzouth was trained as an assassin, which goes to say he is proficient with herbalism, stealth (also a natural wolven ability), information gathering (more attributed to his keener hearing than beguile), and close hand-to-hand combat. He does use daggers on occasion but doesn't rely on them. He is most proficient fighting as a wolf, but he can hold his own with a sword. He prefers a katana for it's balance and quailty, however he's begrudgingly using a bastard sword at the time. Prytzouth's straight fighting style (w/o Psionics) doesn't reflect that of a seasoned warrior, but rather that of a street thief or even an animal (go figure). Mannerisms: Prytzouth is a rather quiet person, but he's also rather emotional. He will say what he means if it's worth being said, but most of the time you can count on him to be an observer. Around his friends, however, you can count on him being part of the group. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Notes on Prytzouth's History and Background Prytz was trained as an assassin with his "cousin" Maurkel de (Black), who was also a wolf. They were as close as any kin and best friends could be. Their mentor/guildmaster died when they reached the age of 50, and they went into a partnership. Some time later, when they were around 75, Prytzouth fell in love with the Baroness, Dari Darmaux. They spent long hours together and were engaged to be married. It is uncertain if she knew who Prytzouth really was. In the mean time, Maurkel was offered a contract he couldn't refuse, and accepted it before inquiring who the mark was (as is often the case with contracts). He was shocked to find it was Prytzouth's fiancee', but to honor the assassin's unspoken code, he did not break the contract. Maurkel was unsuccessful in hiding his identity for the assassination, and ever since Prytzouth has been searching for revenge. Currently, Prytz has made friends with Hugh and Fawn at Dragon's Inn after teleporting out of a deadly encounter with Maurkel. With their help, Prytz was able to heal himself at an accelerated pace.
